Is The Sanctity Of Marriage Under Attack?

Is Marriage, As We Know It Gone?   Does the government have the right to poke it’s nose in our private lives, or do we have the right to demand to be in the know about the impact of social challenges in our lives. In the wake of Janet’s and Justin wardrobe malfunction number, having Paris Hilton’s romp excursions forced upon us as if we needed a dose a indecent exposure, or the escalating sexual predators lurking in our shadows, stealing our children’s youth away.  We now are facing the real possibility that Gays deserve the right to be identified as a legal union by marriage.   Legality, civil rights, and a quest to have unbiased or prejudiced lives are at the forefront of a national protest as they claim discrimination.

Whose Right Is It Anyway?  Is the government butting in where they do not belong or are they selective with whom they deem under the radar of social confrontation on civil rights.  Our government certainly plays no role in right to have multiple spouses or the act of polygamy, which practices one man having the right to have numerous wives. However, this notion that same sex couples can wed or should have that right to do so is utterly ridiculous!  Gays feel their plight draws comparisons to the demeaning and deadly struggles Negro slaves had to overcome or the battles interracial couples have fought.

The Laws of Marriage!  The last time I checked we still see on our currency “In God We Trust”, and I believe we continue to sing the phrase “God Bless America”.  If that were so, then we are stewards of the bible, believing in the spoken word while knowing the father, Jesus Christ, the Son of God.   I believe in the bible and nowhere have I read that God spoke the existence of Gays.  The bible does teach us humility, and to love but the truth is God never approved homosexuality.  Same Sex marriages are wrong!  The institution of marriage was created by God and willed into existence. I have always said the phrase “God Don’t Like Ugly”. Well, this is ugly.  Gay marriages are a threat to the sanctity of marriage.  There is no way for them to truly enjoy the real benefits of marriage the way God intended.  It is unbelievable how some states led by Massachusetts and California are handing our marriage licenses as if they were concert tickets to a huge rock show.

Marriage: Is It a Fight for Principles? Can anyone prove to me that research shows homosexuality is anything more than a simple choice?  I know race is determined by genetics, and inherited traits are likely to be passed on through your family lineage. I also know that there will always be prejudice, disagreements and all out dislike.  But going against the laws of God and demanding your right to go against the one unyielding truth God intended is Blasphemous. I read where a writer wrote that he didn’t believe that gay marriages are an attack on the institution of marriage. He also asked, “How will gay marriages destroy society?” Try this one on for size…if we allow this latest fad to exist over the years, then we stand to slowly eliminate mankind.  There would simply be no one left to reproduce.  I like the story just as it is.  There stood Adam and God blessed him with a woman (Eve)…. Oh, by the way, I didn’t say Steve!
